Shantal Marin, a young Belizean diplomat, arrived this week in Argentina to begin courses at the Academy that trains Argentine diplomats, the National Foreign Service Institute (ISEN). For 9 months, she will share the courses with future generations of Argentine diplomats, but also with officers graduated from academies of Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Subjects, such as Argentine History, International Law, Exports Promotion; group exercises, such as mock negotiations, and the visit to many different places in Argentina will be among the many activities to be carried out by the young diplomatic officer during her stay in our country.

Moreover, she will inform about the culture, situation and perspectives of Belize to his fellow students and to officials, an exchange that will surely generate lasting bonds, very useful for her future carreer as a Belizean diplomat.
