A Belizean expert on cultural management took part in this Seminary that was given by officials from the Argentine Secretary of Culture in the OAS in Washington. The Course, intended for Caribbean countries, was funded by the Argentine Fund for South-South and Triangular Cooperation (FO.AR) of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Experts from the Argentine System of Cultural Information (SinCA) explained their Caribbean colleagues their experience in the development of an integrated system of cultural information nationwide and with a federal approach.

The system was designed as a tool for cultural policy and management, as well as a service aiming at the democratization of cultural information.

During the opening session, Argentine and OAS officials pointed at their interest that this exchange of experiences be an effective mechanism for strengthening links between participating countries. In this sense, they expressed their hope that this activity would lead to more South-South Cooperation projects, within the framework of multilateral organizations.
