Patricia Vaca Narvaja met Foreign Minister Elrington, in the context of the celebrations of Belize's National Day. During the event, they reviewed the bilateral agenda, with topics, such as South-South Cooperation, where both countries have been undertaking projects in tourism and SME promotion, or the presence of a Belizean diplomat in the Argentine Diplomatic Academy, and the recent approval of a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between both countries.

The Argentine Ambassador thanked Mr. Elrington for Belize's support at the UN General Assembly for the approval of a Resolution on Principles of Sovereign Debt Restructurings.

They also talked about Argentine presence in next Belize Dance (X) Festival, as well as of the film "The Games Maker", that took part in the competition of last Belize International Film Festival.

Mr. Elrington welcomed the future opening of an Argentine Embassy in Belize and future exchanges were explored, such as the possibility of having a Parlamentarian Friendship Group, or cooperation in textile manufacturing.
